Deals this week: Air Canada, Safe Bag, TAV Airports
TIN news: Canadian airline Air Canada has expanded its code-share agreement with Croatia Airlines.
Pursuant to the agreement, the latter will operate the former’s flights from Rijeka, Croatia to London Heathrow and Zagreb, and Split to Rome.
Canadian travel services firm Safe Bag has been awarded a five-year contract to offer integrated traveller services at the Vancouver International Airport, Canada.
The contract, which will commence from 1 May, includes luggage winding, traceability, travel goods, and weigh and save services.
In a move to expand its services in southeast Asia, Delta Air Lines has agreed to expand its code-share partnership with the French-Dutch airline, Air France-KLM.
From 26 April 2017, the code-share agreement will enable Delta to place its DL code on the Air France-KLM’s Paris CDG - Singapore daily service.
The Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) has awarded the development and operation contract for two Saudi Arabian airports to TAV Airports, in partnership with Al Rajhi Holding Group.
Under the agreement, TAV and its partner will develop and operate the Qassim and Hail International airports for 30 years.
The agreement brings the total number of airports operated by TAV in Saudi Arabia to four.
