Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) saw cargo throughput rise by 2.3% to 430,000 tonnes in October, versus like month 2016.
The growth in cargo throughput last month was driven mainly by 4% year-on-year growth in exports, with Europe increasing "most significantly" among the key trading regions.
Over the first 10 months of 2017, HKIA registered a 9.9% surge in cargo volumes, from the same period in 2016, to just over 4m tonnes.
On a rolling 12-month basis, HKIA saw cargo throughput climb 9.8% to 4.9 m tonnes.
