United Boeing 737-900 Overran Runway on Landing

A United Boeing 737-900, performing flight from Phoenix to Chicago O’Hare (USA) with 129 people on board, overran runway on landing.

• Aircraft landed on Chicago’s runway 04R but overran the end of the runway and came to a stop with at least the nose gear off the paved surface.
• The passengers disembarked via mobile stairs and were bussed to the terminal.
• There were no injuries, the aircraft sustained minor if any damage.
• The airline reported the aircraft rolled off the concrete surface due to weather conditions.
