SriLankan Airlines Airbus A330 Bursts Tyre on Landing

A SriLankan Airlines Airbus A330-200, performing flight from Colombo (Sri Lanka) to Chennai (India) with 142 passengers, reported burst tyre on landing.

• Aircraft landed on Chennai’s runway 07. During roll out the outboard forward right hand main tyre burst.
• The aircraft was able to depart for the return flight UL-122 after 10 hours on the ground.
