Air France takes delivery of its ninth (and last) Boeing 787 Dreamliner

On May 18, one month after the arrival of the eighth Boeing 787, Air France took delivery of the latest addition to its fleet: the company’s ninth Boeing 787 to arrive at its Paris-Charles de Gaulle hub.

This new aircraft, which is also the Air France-KLM group’s 22nd Boeing 787, marks an ambition to pursue Air France’s fleet modernisation. The aircraft will spend a few days in the hands of professionals from the Air France Industrial Division before operating its first commercial flights.

For the 2019 summer season, Air France’s Boeing 787s are flying customers all over the world, to Abidjan, Bamako, Bangkok, Bogota, Conakry, Detroit, Freetown, Libreville, Minneapolis Nairobi, New York – JFK, Nouakchott, Osaka and Panama City.

• A significant reduction in CO2 emissions (about 20%) as well as noise emissions.
