‘Switzerland ready to boost trade ties with Iran’

The Swiss Ambassador to Tehran, Markus Leitner, said on Sunday that his country is ready to strengthen trade ties with Iran.

“There are many industrial capacities in different parts of the country (Iran),” said Markus Leitner during a visit to Markazi province.

The two countries of Iran and Switzerland enjoy high potential to strengthen trade and business ties, he remarked, Mehr reported.

Ambassador Leitner also hailed “warm relations” between Iran and Switzerland, saying such trips can help expansion of relations between the two sides’ private sector.
