Camgian, Fincantieri join forces on maritime IoT solutions

Camgian Microsystems Corporation announced a teaming agreement with Fincantieri Marine Systems North America (FMSNA), a part of Fincantieri, the world’s largest shipbuilders, to pursue the delivery of Internet of Things (IoT) solutions for improving ship-borne maintenance and servicing operations.

Combining FMSNA’s global footprint in maintenance with Camgian’s technologies in IoT and multi-sensor processing, the partnership will focus on deploying a new generation of sensor-driven analytical tools, that will help users improve operational downtime and equipment utilization.

    “Combining FMSNA’s engineering and maintenance experience with Camgian’s capabilities in IoT, software development and sensor processing positions us to realize a new level of operational efficiencies in our industry,” says Rick Dinsmore, Vice President of FMSNA.

New solutions and services generated through the partnership will be underpinned by Camgian’s Egburt, an end-to-end IoT software platform specifically designed to intelligently manage complex sensing and processing operations at scale.
