Iranian rolling stock production agreement

TIN news: Industrial Development & Renovation Organisation of Iran and Russian rolling stock manufacturing group Transmashholding have signed a joint venture agreement to co-operate in the financing and manufacturing of 500 coaches in Iran.
This follows a visit to Russia by IDRO’s senior management. The Iranian company said the passenger rolling stock agreement could be followed by a similar agreement for the production of freight wagons. Terms were not disclosed.
