Stockholm extends CAF tram order

GREATER Stockholm Local Transport (SL) has signed a contract extension with CAF to supply eight Urbos low-floor LRVs, to add to the 22 already built by CAF, which are running in Stockholm.
CAF was originally awarded a contract for the supply of 15 trams in 2010, which was then extended by a further seven vehicles.
The three-section bidirectional trams offer an estimated capacity of 221 passengers, including 70 seated.
