Train cleaning equipment on show at InnoTrans 2018

The TUnit for the environmentally friendly and hygienic supply of drinking water to trains and the vacuum disposal of waste water will be presented by Vogelsang at InnoTrans 2018.

The TUnit SP variant is a compact, single-station system equipped with a VX series rotary lobe pump which is particularly suitable for smaller servicing points, while the high-performance TUnit MP is designed for larger facilities.

Also on show will be the CleanUnit cabinet for holding equipment needed for to clean the interiors of trains. In addition to detergents and devices, the CleanUnit provides warm and cold water as well as an environmentally-friendly disposal option for grey water. Options include sockets for external devices such as vacuums or high-pressure cleaners, and heating for use at sub-zero temperatures.
