Amtrak Announces Valentine’s Day Companion Flash Sale

Amtrak has announced a flash sale on Roomette ticket fares ahead of Valentine’s Day.

The Roomette Free Companion Flash Sale, which runs from January 28 to February 6 2025, offers travellers the opportunity to bring a companion on selected routes for the price of one.

Available on Long Distance services between January 29 and April 17 2025, routes include journeys on the California Zephyr, Cardinal, City of New Orleans, Coast Starlight, Crescent, Empire Builder, Floridian, Lake Shore Limited, Silver Meteor, Southwest Chief, Sunset Limited, and the Texas Eagle

Amtrak’s Roomettes provide travellers with two seats (which are converted into bunk beds overnight), a dedicated First Class attendant, complimentary lounge access at major stations, priority boarding, meals and access to both a restroom and shower in the car.

Amtrak Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer Eliot Hamlisch, said:
