Iranian Consul General in Quetta Visits Mirjaveh Border

The Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Quetta recently conducted an official visit to the Mirjaveh Border, accompanied by a delegation of provincial managers. During the visit, the delegation toured various sections of the terminal and received briefings on its operational challenges and issues.

On the sidelines of the visit, Ayoub Kurd, Director General for Sistan and Baluchestan Provincial RMTO presented a detailed report on the border's performance. The report highlighted the volume of export and transit goods handled over the past year, as well as statistics on inbound and outbound traffic through the border.


The Mirjaveh BCP, located on the shared border between Iran and Pakistan, holds strategic importance as the oldest official border crossing in Sistan and Baluchestan Province, playing a pivotal role in fostering economic development and enhancing trade exchanges between the two neighboring countries.
