TIN news:  IRU launches its new WeChat account – the most popular social media platform in China – ahead of this month’s OBOR summit.

Set to be China’s biggest political event of the year, with IRU President Christian Labrot and Secretary General Umberto de Pretto attending, the summit is a platform to set-out long-term strategic initiatives to improve connectivity and enhance global trade routes.

The new WeChat platform will enhance IRU’s presence and underscore the mission to bring about prosperity through unimpeded trade – aligning with the One Belt, One Road objectives.

Sharing up-to-date information of IRU’s activities in the region, the WeChat account will also reinforce understanding of the benefits of TIR as China prepares to roll it out.
