Transdev and Delphi Automotive have established a commercial partnership to develop a mobility-on-demand (AMoD) transport system.

The AMoD system will be developed using Transdev's Universal Routing Engine (URE) and Delphi’s Centralised Sensing, Planning and Localisation (CSLP) platform.

Transdev is a private public transport operator based in France, while Delphi is an automotive parts manufacturing company based in the UK.

InMotion Ventures has announced an investment of $25m in US-based rideshare company, Lyft.

"The map will include an integrated radar road signature layer that can be used even during conditions of poor visibility."

The investment will support Lyft’s expansion plans and enable InMotion Ventures to test its mobility services.

InMotion is the UK-based venture capital arm of Jaguar Land Rover.

TomTom has partnered with Bosch to develop a high-definition (HD) map, which will help autonomous vehicles to identify their specific location.

The map will include an integrated radar road signature layer that can be used even during conditions of poor visibility.

TomTom is a navigation and mapping products developer based in the Netherlands, while Bosch is an electronics company headquartered in Germany.
