A one-day event in Taipei, Taiwan, is looking at the future of transportation and decarbonisation - with a particular focus on the Asia-Pacific region.
The Smart Mobility Summit 2025 will take place on 19 March at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center Hall 2, co-located with the Smart City Summit & Expo.
Click here for details of the one-day programme, which is jointly organised by ITS Taiwan, Far Eastern Electronic Toll Collection Co (FETC), FETC International Co (FETCi) and the Taipei Computer Association.
It aims to bring together global experts and stakeholders to explore innovative solutions, real-world projects and case studies, particularly from the Asia-Pacific region, under the theme 'Road User Charging for Net Zero Roads.
Taipei has been chosen to host the ITS World Congress in 2029.
Policymakers, industry leaders and academics are invited to the Smart Mobility Summit 2025 to exchange insights on the latest policies, trends, challenges, and best practices to achieve Net Zero goals in the transportation sector.
The organisers say attendees can expect "in-depth discussions on sustainable mobility, digital tolling systems, and innovative funding mechanisms that can support green road infrastructure".
There will be delegates from regions including Thailand, Malaysia, India, Indonesia and New Zealand, "fostering a global dialogue on transformative mobility strategies".
