A Delta Air Lines Bombardier CRJ900 crashed on landing at Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) on Feb. 17.

As of 3:15 p.m. local time, Atlanta-based Delta had not issued a statement. However, a statement on Pearson’s website says, “Toronto Pearson is aware of an incident upon landing involving a Delta Air Lines plane arriving from Minneapolis. Emergency teams are responding. All passengers and crew are accounted for.”

Local media reports said the Delta Connection regional flight was flying from Minneapolis—a Delta hub—to YYZ, where there was a snowstorm. Photographs were also emerging of a Delta CRJ900 lying upside down on the runway and surrounded by emergency vehicles.

Delta Connection Flight 4819 landed on Runway 23 at about 2:12 p.m. local time, according to online tracking data. Weather conditions at the time included winds out of the west at 28 kt .gusting to 35 kt. Visibility was 5.2 nm. limited by blowing snow. Cloud cover was broken at 3,400 ft.

Photographs were also emerging of a Delta CRJ900 lying upside down in snow on or near the runway and surrounded by emergency vehicles.
