Mahirood Border Records Over 688,000 Tons of Exports in Iranian Year 1403

The Director General for South Khorasan Provincial RMTO announced a significant increase in exports from the Mahirood border during last Iranian year. According to Asadollah Jalalzadeh, a total of 688,476 tons of goods were exported, marking a 47.8% rise compared to the same period in the previous year.

Mr. Jalalzadeh also highlighted a notable surge in incoming transit through the border. During this period, 1,648 tons of goods were recorded as incoming transit, reflecting a 49.8% increase year-on-year.
These figures underscore the growing importance of the Mahirood border in facilitating trade and transit operations in the region.
