In December 2024, Korean Air completed its acquisition of Asiana Airlines, four years after the initial announcement, after securing approvals from various global regulators, including the EU and the U.S. Department of Justice, with concessions made to ensure competition.
Korean Air is one of the airlines registered to attend the 2025 Routes Asia event in Perth, Australia.
