Dubai Maritime City Authority hosts ‘Japan Day’ on the sidelines of ‘UAE Maritime Week 2018’
Dubai Maritime City Authority (DMCA) has revealed that it is set to host a ‘Japan Day’ this October 31, 2018, an event being held on the sidelines of ‘UAE Maritime Week 2018,’. The event reflects a new achievement for UAE Maritime Week 2018 being an international pioneering platform in the global maritime industry. During the event, the Japan Ship Machinery and Equipment Association (JSMEA) will hold key seminars and trainings that looks towards discussing the latest global developments related to shipping, technology, sustainability, marine fuels and innovation.

During the event, the Japan Ship Machinery and Equipment Association (JSMEA) will hold key seminars and trainings that looks towards discussing the latest global developments related to shipping, technology, sustainability, marine fuels and innovation.
The exclusive sessions and highly interactive seminars organized for ‘Japan Day’ are expected to see the participation of leading industry experts and analysts from the Japanese maritime segment, like Saeed Al Malik, President of Middle East Fuji LLC; Shinzo Yamada, Chairman of JSMEA and Yukihito Fujinami, Middle East Regional Manager, ClassNK. The event agenda features two key sessions focused on highlighting the latest technologies, equipment and devices designed by major Japanese companies to help improve safety, operational efficiency and reduce energy and marine fuel consumption, all of which are pressing demands to drive the growth and sustainability of the global maritime industry.
