KTZ and Chinese provinces have consolidated the development of cooperation in the field of container transportation
Kanat Alpysbaev, the head of “NC” Kazakhstan Temir Zholy "JSC, held a series of meetings in Shanghai with representatives of logistic platforms in the Chinese provinces of Zhejiang (Yiwu), Hunan (Changsha), Jiangsu (Lianyungang), Shaanxi (Xian), Sichuan (Chengdu), Henan (Zhengzhou ) and Chongqing, as well as one of the largest global container operators - COSCO Shipping Lines, to discuss future cooperation on a number of projects.

Within the framework of the meetings, plans for further cooperation, agreements reached to increase the volume of container shipments from China to Europe, Central Asia, Turkey and the Persian Gulf countries are discussed.
The agreement reached on operating the subsidiary company of NC “Kazakhstan Temir Zholy” JSC – “KTZ Express” JSC by the COSCO Shipping Lines container fleet on the territory of Kazakhstan and Central Asian countries, as well as in the direction of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route.
“We are open for the development of cooperation and are ready to increase the volume of transportation through Kazakhstan in terms of the border and related infrastructure,” said the head of Kazakhstan’s delegation K. Alpysbayev.
As a result of the talks, relevant agreements were signed.
It should be reminded that earlier “NC” Kazakhstan Temir Zholy" JSC concluded bilateral negotiations with the Chinese railways and reached a number of agreements on the promotion of future cooperation.
