Uzbekistan Airways Launches Direct Flights to New York

Tashkent-based Uzbekistan Airways announced the launch of a direct service between Tashkent and New York John F. Kennedy International Airport.
The Uzbekistani flag carrier previously operated the service to New York John F. Kennedy International Airport four times per week with a stopover in Riga, Latvia.
From July 27 to October 26, the direct flights will be operated on Thursdays with a Boeing 787-8 aircraft.
Uzbekistan Airways received its first Boeing 787-8 in late August 2016 and flies to more than 40 destinations around the world from its hub at Tashkent International Airport.
